In this case, durable, hardened special steel is used for the locking pin, housing, and supporting components of the locking mechanism. The installed ABUS Plus cylinder is protected against manipulation, such as with a pick. The GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 also excels in terms of electronics. The 3D Position Detection alarm function reacts sensitively to movement and signals any attempted opening with a 100 dB signal. The automatic brake disc recognition system knows exactly whether or not the lock is mounted on the disc. This allows the GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 to be conveniently transported in its locked state without triggering an alarm. Multi-colored LEDs provide information about the lock's status and battery charge.
