The constant increase in paper producers' requirements for transport companies regarding cargo protection, particularly for paper rolls, prompted design work that resulted in the creation of the new PaperMAX conveyor belt protector. PaperMAX protectors are recommended by leading paper producers due to their practical properties:
- The tension forces of the transport straps required to properly secure paper rolls during transport are so great that they could easily damage the paper. Thanks to the extended arms of the PaperMAX protectors, the transported load remains safe and the top layers of the paper are not damaged.
- By increasing the pressure points on both arms of the protector and moving them away from the load's edges, optimal distribution of the tension force of the transport strap is achieved. This solution protects the top layer of paper from damage, minimizing transport losses.
- The effectiveness of the optimal belt tension force distribution has been confirmed by test results conducted by the independent laboratory TÜV AUSTRIA AUTOMOTIVE GMBH. In accordance with VDI 2700 guidelines and the requirements of DIN EN 12195-1, the PaperMAX lashing strap protector achieved a K-value of 1.85, which was confirmed by an official test report. As a result, PaperMAX achieved the highest belt tension force distribution coefficient among lashing strap protectors available on the market.
- Additional empty space on the inside of the protector where the arms connect prevents damage to the edges of the paper roll.
- The curved edge of one of the arms facilitates the attachment of the belt and securing the transported paper rolls in a lying (horizontal) position.
- Thanks to the highest quality materials used in production, high resistance to mechanical factors and the effects of low and high temperatures, from -20 °C to +70 °C, has been achieved.
